Ethiopia, with its estimated population of 101 million, faces challenges in terms of knowledge about ASD across various sectors, including the general public, education, social sectors, and government officials [2].

Research conducted in Ethiopia with 34 professionals showed significant improvements in participants' knowledge after a 5-day workshop, highlighting the effectiveness of professional development training in improving autism education.
